As I expected, Laban Tall has been commenting on the Birmingham riots. He keeps on top of this sort of thing anyway and as a West Midlander, probably has more of an inside track than most of us.
These comments that he discovered on a website are illuminating:
About time we stood up to them flat-batty-harking-and-spitting-indians.
You get what you deserve - we should boycott their businesses from NOW
They feed off us like were a carcass. Unite!
The Guardian quotes Maxie Hayles, chairman of the Birmingham Racial Attacks Monitoring Group:
Afro-Caribbeans have been spending money in Asian shops for many years now, but they don't give them enough respect. They don't employ black people in their shops and it is about the way they treat their customers. The way they look at them.
These riots may have been sparked by a rumour that an Afro-Caribbean girl had been raped but it seems that the real cause is resentment by blacks against Pakistanis moving into their area and becoming economically more successful. There was little evidence of the alleged rape but this did not stop people believing the story. As Hayles said:
Ninety nine and three-quarter percent of the Afro-Caribbean community believe it took place and that is why passions are running so high. We believe the person involved has been traumatised and we are told it is not the first time that it has happened.
Against a background of racial tension, people are prepared to believe anything about the other side, even if there is no clear evidence.
There are clear parallels with the riots in Oldham and Bradford where existing racial tension was ignited by relatively minor incidents. The aftermath will, I expect, be different. There is no BNP to blame this time. There are clearly people who incited trouble and talked up the rape rumour. The story was broadcast by a local pirate radio station and a number of 'activists' demanded protest action. Will any of these people be prosecuted for incitement to racial hatred? I doubt it. As usual, the police, media and government will talk to community leaders and try to understand. Witch hunts only happen when it is white people doing the inciting or the rioting.

Yeah, On Saturday the BBC said there was 80 crimes during the riot, imagine the amount of material the MSM must have. If white people were involved it would be getting rammed down our throat 24/7.

I've been looking at the comments on the Blackchat forum for a few days. Some of them were just insane, pure racial hatred - as Laban Tall says, they are all but identical in content to what you'd find on Stormfront. There are others who try to argue against this crap, but they just get insults hurled at them: 'house negro' etc.
Now Blackchat just displays this message: "The BNVILLAGE forums are currently offline due to upgrade Please check back later. The Village does not condone any acts of violence, aggression or threats and call for calm and unity across all communities."
Bit bloody late now, eh.
As Mark Twain once wrote: "God damn those negroes, they are no better than us." A humane observation which no doubt would fail to percolate through the thick skulls of PC 'right-ons' and bigots alike.

Let's see 'em try and pin THIS one on the BNP or the (traditional) "a minority of white youths from outside the area".......

Ahhhhh you guys do have to deal with so much oppression. What with those Iraqi's trying to keep you out of their country (Why? is it cos u is white?) And then you got the blacks who you would think would be grateful for being enslaved and treated as an underclass, I mean you would think they would show some gratitude!!!!

Yeah yeah *yawn*, but the riots in Birmingham were between Asians and Blacks.
Whites didn't really enter the picture.
Brain in gear before hands on keyboard, outofthebox!
