Gays blamed for Israel's war failure

Writing in the New Statesman last summer,  Gideon Lichfield blamed Israel's failure to defeat Hezbollah on the Israeli Army's poor equipment and lack of preparation for war.  A number of people agree with him including an army colonel.

The Haredim, Israel's ultra orthodox Jews, have a simpler explanation;  it was God's punishment for Israel's tolerant attitude to homosexuality.  When you think about it,  it's obvious.  The war in Lebanon broke out on the same day that Jerusalem's Gay Pride march was announced and God is bound to favour those who would stone the sodomites to death over a nation that lets them parade in the streets.

Of course,  if God was so angry about the mere announcement of the parade, how furious will he be when Jerusalem's gays actually march in the street?  What punishment might he have in store for Israel?  The Gay Pride march is planned for 10 November but if it is allowed to go ahead,  say the Haredim,  it could lead to another war.

This is all a little unfair on Jerusalem's gay folk.  After all,  they have achieved something that many others have been trying to do for years.  They have united Jerusalem's religious nutters in a single cause.  Muslims, Christians and Jews have promised to protest in the streets and to do whatever is necessary to prevent the parade from going ahead.  They may be at each other's throats most of the time but on one thing they can all agree - they hate poofters more than they hate each other.

Homosexual parades are the stupidest thing ever concieved. Equally as stupid as heterosexual parades, which is why you never see any of the latter. There's a clue there.

The word gay always meant happy. There's a big fat flaming faggot I saw on TV years ago who supposedly was looking for a word with a positive connotation to replace the word "homosexual", since that word has always had a negative connotation among the general population of virtually anywhere, and he came up with "gay". It was quickly picked up by all the other homosexuals and the general populace followed suit like the blind fools most people are.

If you really pay attention, most homosexuals are not gay, ie, happy. They're usually all jerked out of shape by one issue or another, and as for the use of gay to mean homosexual, now the word gay has a negative connotation among the general population of virtually anywhere. This is because you can't change the centuries of reality of peoples thinking simply by replacing one word with another.

There will always be homosexuals and there will always be a certain amount of public antipathy toward them. If a bunch of them are silly enough to parade in front of those people and aggravate them, they're certainly entitled. Personally I don't go to watch these little spectacles because, as I pointed out, they're stupid. Who cares what the sexuality or utter lack of same is with any given individual or group as long as they do no harm? That's the bottom line.

For me, I've always thought that sex is like religion. People should pray and have sex in private.

But now I have this great idea: Let's get a bunch of us together and make like Jehovahs Witnesses and go from door to door displaying our genitals and proselytize people to have sex with dolls or dogs or goats or even, Hey, this is revolutionary, with someone of the opposite sex.
