White and Muslim youths clash in Windsor

While the management of Windsor Castle are going out of their way to make a Muslim employee feel welcome,  some in the surrounding town have yet to embrace the spirit of tolerance and diversity.

Three nights of disturbances have culminated in an attempt to fire-bomb a Muslim-owned dairy.  According to the police,  the trouble started with a minor disagreement on Monday evening which then escalated.  Groups of Asian and white youths confronted each other on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings until the police moved in to disperse them.

The Telegraph reports that the dairy is also used for prayers and its owner is backing plans for a mosque in Windsor.  From the same article:

Some nearby residents, who did not want to be named, claimed that white youths were attacked first in an incident on Monday by Asians with baseball bats.

The following night, a larger crowd gathered and a lorry belonging to the Medina Diary was damaged. Last night saw the biggest gathering.

Most people think of Windsor as a genteel tourist trap but it certainly has a rough side.  There are some great pubs in the town and in Eton across the river but there are others which are probably better left off your route. When I first came to London, Windsor had a reputation for fights between soldiers and locals and for having one of the hardest Hells Angels chapters in the country.  Now young Muslims have been added to the mix and if,  like their counterparts elsewhere, they are keen to stake out their own turf, there is bound to be trouble from the local white kids.

Racial and religious violence was once a feature of estates in big cities.  It seems that small towns are now getting their share of trouble too.

wonder why mulsims keep increasing in number? u r the cause .when u teah hatred, people wanna know why and by that, they learn islam and become real good muslims. an example is me.
