CRE attacked for right-wing Christmas card
The Commission for Racial Equality seems to have acquired a sense of humour in its old age.
This year's CRE Christmas cards make fun of political correctness. The card is presented as if it is a draft, with circled comments complaining about breaches of the PC code.
Not everyone is amused though. According to Black Information Link, the card confirms the CRE's status on the right-wing and it "could have easily come from UKIP or the BNP".
Of course, BLINK has its own agenda. It is highly critical of the plan to roll the CRE and other equality quangos up into a single Commission for Equality and Human Rights. Last week, Ruth Kelly announced the CEHR's new board, on which only one of the nine members is black. That board member is Trevor Phillips who is despised by BLINK for his criticism of multi-culturalism.
Could this be the sound of panic as a gravy-train shudders into a siding?

yes.

Steve,
A manual trackback...

Overtones of Inigo Wilson here. As I said then, "Besides, humourlessness is one of the radical left’s defining features."
CRE 1, Blink 0 I think.

Humourlessness is one of the radical right's defining features too - try poking fun at Pinochet/Musso/Adolf etc... and see where it gets you ....

Could this be a "U" turn

Hmmm... vaguely right-wing government on the horizon and the CRE dials down the crazy. Put me in the 'unconvinced' column.

I found two websites that have really unique, exclusive and truly great Christmas party invitations cards,

These sites have lots of Christmas wording ideas to help me get my Christmas greeting cards just right. And, they print and ship the same day.
That's why I tell all my friends and family about them. Try these sites, you will love them - I guarantee it.

I want to tell everyone about the great websites I found for birthday party invitations. These sites,
http://www.cardspersonalized.com
http://www.cardsshoppe.com
http://www.express-invitations.com
have all kinds of birthday invitations, and have their invitations cards divided into categories adult and children. This makes it easy to find the type party invitation I was looking for. Plus they have lots of wording ideas, verses and sayings to help you.
The thing I liked most about these sites is that I was able to find the image I wanted, then add my personalized message using the ink color, typestyle and fonts I wanted, and then instantly preview my new card. WOW, was that cool!! They also printed and shipped my order the same day I ordered. I could not find any other place on the internet who did that. They are GREAT!!

Has any government of the day, had the decency to ask the British people, if they want a multi-cultural society?
