John Payne's attackers guilty of attempted murder

I've just got back from the US so I'm feeling a bit jet-lagged and will, therefore, probably make even less sense than usual. However, I wanted to write a quick update about the racial attack on John Payne that I covered a couple of weeks ago.

Esmerelda sent me a note with some good news about this case. Not only have three of the men who attacked Mr Payne been found guilty of attempted murder but newspapers have started to take an interest in the story. Well, OK, it's only the Daily Mail but at least it's a start.

It appears that some Bangladeshi youths had decided that the Clichy estate in east London was their turf and they attacked Mr Payne and his friends simply for being there and being white.

Three years ago, a report by a local neighbourhood group noted that gangs of youths were congregating in the area and intimidating people. Clearly nothing was done to tackle this problem and the youths were able to graduate from intimidation to full-on violence.

John Payne's attackers will be sentenced in January.

The Clichy estate in east London should not be confused with the Paris banlieue of Clichy-sous-Bois. Any similarities between the two are purely coincidental.

By definition, "racial attacks" are always understood to be instigated by white youths. Any evidence to the contrary (and there's plenty of it) is ignored on ideological grounds.

The Mail report is about the lot, so far. I didn't expect anything from the BBC, not website nor local TV news and the Beeb didn't disappoint me.
The local papers come out on Friday and don't generally update their website until then.
The other news sources no longer have the "sub judice" excuse now that there are definite convictions.
Possibly more notice will be taken on sentencing. If the sentences are considered "too harsh" perhaps for these "misunderstood" youths.

It was a very rare event and the media, very understandably, don't want to incite whites, always a hairsbreadth from committing vile racist violence, to further oppression of our vulnerable ethnic minorities. Back in the 1980's there was a fellow who owned a soul-food company. He turned out all sorts of canned, processed soul-food. For those of you living outside this sphere of knowledge, soul-food is consumed by at least 90% of black people in America.

Ok. Well, the owner of this company was white, and he just happened to hate blacks. So he devised this scheme to put deadly poison in all his various products at the same time and ship poisoned soul-food out to all the stores at once.

If he'd been successful it's estimated that he would have wiped out up to 90% of the blacks. However, the FBI was on to him and he was shipped off to prison.

So don't think that whites can't commit racist acts against blacks, too, as they do it all the time. The problem is getting the acts of black racism as well recognized as what whites do, giving these acts just as much negative publicity and punishing them equally as harshly. I'm willing to bet that blacks commit more racist acts than whites do, considering their out-of-balance crime rate, and more focus should be put on this than there is at present. Fair is fair.

Well, this Nazi tried, believe me, but much as he liked the concept, he was overcome by scepticism about whether anyone really tried to benefit America like that. Indians society is based around status, & indians value status more than their culture, they sacrifice their culture for wealth, which you can see in their kids, almost totally integrated into british society, can give an irishman a run for his money in a drinking game, even change their name to english names to please the white people they look upto, it's funny, asian people trying to get their skin whiter & white people take every chance to get their skin brown.
Pakistani's on the other hand have wealth, but don't show it, sure there's poor pakistanis but there's poor indians too, pakistanis invest their money in pakistan, they don't declare it in britain which is now on it's way down while property in pakistan increases in value, pakistanis in britain have a strong connection to pakistan where as a lot of indians feel ashamed of their origins, esp their youth (more brainwashed/westernised), they don't put much money back into india esp sikhs as they are persecuted their. Also remember that the non muslim indians supported british rule in india as it was because of them that india is now under hindu rule, Indians where in britain a generation before their pakistani counterparts & you'd be stupid to think that the indians collaboration during british rule was not greatly rewarded.
