Christian Voice plans to leaflet Alum Rock
This Saturday, Christian Voice is planning to leaflet Alum Rock, the Birmingham suburb where two evangelical Christians were threatened with arrest for a similar leaflet campaign last weekend.
Christian Voice is probably one of the few organisations that could get away with this sort of challenge. The police and media tend to give religious groups more slack than political ones. At least, that has been the case until now.
It will be interesting to see what West Midlands Police does about this. The leaflet campaign will test the force's claim that last week's action against the evangelicals was just an over-reaction by an officer who didn't fully understand the law.
The thought of two groups of beardy religious nutters facing off against each other seems comical but a confrontation like that could soon turn nasty, which would give the police the excuse to order the Christians out of the area.
That said, and despite Christian Voice's own opposition to free expression, the right of people to peacefully disseminate their views must be upheld. No group should have a veto on free speech in a given area just because they can summon up a shouting mob at short notice.

Well I'd find it amusing. And if undermentalist filth want to have a fight with each other, then I've no objection, provided that no decent people get hurt.

With any luck, at least one brain-dead on each side will be fully terminated.
That should start some fun (dementalism)

I once said of Stephen Green that I thought he was a bit of a barmpot but I hadn't realised until I saw him interviewed just how much a dead ringer for Alan Partridge he was.
But barmpot or not, if he is going to challenge the fundamentalists in their stronghold he has got more courage in his little finger than a lot of the keyboard warriors I read every day.
I'm looking forward to hearing that you atheists are on the corner of Alum Rock Road the weekend after next with some Humanist Society Tracts and explaining to the Mosque goers how Allah is a "Sky Fairy" - I think that's the usual phrase you like to use to mock those of faith.
I'll be praying for him. And if you do have the courage to go to Alum Rock, or nearer home (Queens Road Walthamstow on a Friday perhaps???) and liken a Muslim’s faith in Allah and Mohammed, to belief in the tooth fairy, in the same way that you mock those of us that believe in Jesus Christ then I'll pray for you too.

Esmeralda - believe me, praying for them would make no difference, it would be a life changing or possibly ending experience for them, people around there are not very religious but rather violent towards any1 trying to take the piss & i aint talking about a simple beating here.

Esmerelda
"those of us that believe in Jesus Christ then I'll pray for you too."
You should try reading a little history, from original sources, and leave the mythology where it belongs, down the crapper.

Easy to tell me that - I accept that you have free will to believe what you like and I won't do a thing to hurt you.
Please report back how a fervent Muslim reacts when you tell him his mythology belongs down the lav. I'll be interested to see if you have the guts to do so.

Esmerelda.
I have no desire to talk to stone-age sand fleas.
I was trying to give you free practical advice.
If you are so entranced with your mythology that you fail to heed practical advice, then you are a fool.
Turning to the broader picture, can't you see that this religious verbiage is a deliberate distraction for the sheeple, - a distraction designed, and promoted, by the filthy bastard scum we call fabians/socialists/nulabour/gov't, etc, to hide their real intentions.
Why can't you people stop groveling in the shit, debating endlessly in circles on subjects of no consequence, and address the real problems behind all this crap?
Are you a sheeple, esmy?
Posted by: kuffur | 06 June 2008 at 01:16 PM
You are quite happy to attack and target something and someone that will not give you any grief. You decline to address the real problems yourself, other than to define them as “prehistoric sand fleas” and sneer at a man who has the courage to do that, merely because he believes in something you do not.
I think I understand what you are Kuffur.
I can see that you are not a sheeple.
You are a scaredy cat.

Esmeralda - dont waste you mind discussing anything serious with the keyboard warriors you find here, lack of education is the cause of their ignorance, as are most people who call themselves religious, who like people that 'supposedly' studied science during their 'education' only 'learn' science rather than understand what is being presented to them, both groups are the definition of the word 'sheeple'....kuffur included.
The true sciences., i.e physics & chemistry, if you fully understand their theory both point to the theory of creation & reveal how totally stupid the idea of evolution is. Physicists & chemists who talk openly & not afraid to talk against the deception being propagated so far explain how silly the idea of evolution is & make you ashamed that you ever considered it as possible, they make you realise how naive we all are, or was in my case, the difficulty evolutionists have is physics & chemistry when applied to the idea of a creator cannot explain its existence so they choose to ignore the laws of the true sciences & propagate idiotic theories which have no scientific basis or evidence at all.
Don't ask me to explain any further as the subject is very complicated, but for any1 who wants to educate themselves there's a lot of scientific literature out there that once read & fully understood will prove to you how uneducated the majority of us really are, no matter what level of education we believe we posses.
I was born into a muslim family, religious untill the age of 18, my education from college through university was science based, i became atheist minded & the biggest critiser of religion & the fundementals they are based on, biology was the cause of most of my confusion, but since my 'education' i've realised that my 'learnt' biology theories have no scientific basis, its all a con. Even at this point i can't say i'm a true muslim, but lets say that i'm well & truly on my way, only unlike most muslims i understand the true meaning of the religious teachings & knowledge within the qur'an.
Also esmeralda, your partly right about kuffur, like 99.9999% of people he is a 'scaredy cat' who choose not learn for themselves but to jump on the bandwagon & believe what their told without questioning its foundation. But to be honest, most people don't know whats out their, so its not all their fault, social conditioning plays the major role in the real theory of evolution... that is the regression of people into sheeple.

Chachi, did you go to university in the last couple of weeks?
Something must have changed because you've started using paragraphs and punctuation, which makes your argument much easier to follow. ;-)
If, as you say, science points to the theory of creation and away from the theory of evolution, how come most scientists broadly accept evolution?

Kuffur, here you go again.
You want us to stop going round in circles and "address the real problems behind all this crap" but you are not prepared to say what the "real problems" are.
Please stop talking in riddles and say what you mean.

Steve.
You obviously don't read the comments on your own blog.
Chachi was exposed as a fraud last year, during an argument with rastaman, when he failed to use his normal modus, and lapsed into his actual self.
Well, chachi old buddy, it took some work this time to draw you out, but I've done it again.
TEE HEE!
Now, all this info, that's "out there", would you care to provide us with a few links. Presumably you mean intelligent design, - I'd be really interested, or is it something else?
And are you really saying that all through your life you have been immune to social conditioning?, - or is it that you now know that you can totally discard it, and proceed in your research with non of its baggage colouring your findings?
And BTW, why do you sound so bitter about everything?
You said
"Also esmeralda, your partly right about kuffur, like 99.9999% of people he is a 'scaredy cat' who choose not learn for themselves but to jump on the bandwagon & believe what their told without questioning its foundation."
Naturally, I'd be most interested in your basis for that comment. I grow ever more cynical the more is discovered. Your "questioning the foundation", - please elaborate, - I'd dearly like to learn how you "question the foundation", and if there are any practical ways to absent oneself from the ummm, "socially conditioned" arena, - use the other forum if you wish :)

Good idea!

"TEE HEE!" - what are you kuffur, a catoon character?...believe me, you coudn't expose shit.
Kuffur - "And are you really saying that all through your life you have been immune to social conditioning?"
before you ask some1 too explain something complicated to you, first learn how to read properly.
Remember this part - "i became atheist minded & the biggest critiser of religion & the fundementals they are based on..."
This describes how i too, like every1 else was socially conditioned untill i decided to look into what evolution was actually based on & how the so called evidence supporting the theory is hugely flawed.
Now you want me to give you links to info regarding these flaws, my advice to any1 who wants to learn about the truth is first to lose the ignorant way of thinking, also don't use the internet as a source of information as ther's too much garbage floating around, rely soley on books written by scientists or based on scientific principles, one such book, written by a man under the pen name Harun Yahya, titled - 'The Evolution Deceit' is a very interesting read, its written by a muslim & based on scientific & mathematical principles, although you need to have an open & logical way of thinking to understand what is being explained, also make sure you read it properly, thoroughly understanding each chapter. This book was described by evolutionist as the biggest challenge facing the theory of evolution.
As for debating the subject, forget about it, its to complicated, with many angles to consider hence any discussion over the net would be pointless & extremely lengthy.
Steve, the same goes for you question - "
If, as you say, science points to the theory of creation and away from the theory of evolution, how come most scientists broadly accept evolution?
This world is controlled by money, any scientist who wants his/her research funded must keep in line with this belief, it also has to do with the fact that human logic cannot explain the existence of god 7 as scientist, they have the urge to find explain everything, by accepting that we were created, like everything that is created we have limited abilities, by this i mean as far as scientific knowlege goes, for a scientist, its hard to accept that there's things that humans will never discover, this subject is complicated.
