Who was doing the rioting in Harrow?

Yesterday, John Denham, the secretary of state for communities and local government, warned of 1930s-style fascists on Britain's streets. This is part of his justification for diverting resources away from the fight against Islamic extremism and towards combating militant far-right groups.

The pretext for this is the recent appearance of the English Defence League which has organised protests against mosques and sharia courts during the summer. The Guardian produced a profile of the organisation which is, apparently, hell-bent on bringing mayhem to our streets. The print version helpfully carried a picture of a Sieg-Heiling skinhead, just to show what we're up against.

John Denham's Oswald Mosley comparison was prompted by the trouble in the north-west London suburb of Harrow on Friday. According to various newspaper reports, the English Defence League and another group, Stop Islamification of Europe, commemorated the 9/11 attacks with a protest outside a mosque. Muslim groups turned up to defend their mosque and  a riot ensued, as rightwing and anti-fascist protesters fought each other.

But wait a minute. This BBC report has a slightly different take.

Stop Islamification of Europe (SIOE) said they planned a "peaceful protest" against the building of a five-storey mosque next to the Harrow Central Mosque.

But in a message on their website SIOE said the protest had been called off and organiser Stephen Gash had been arrested.

Police also stopped a number of people, who they believed were heading for the anti-Islamist protest, from getting to the protest area.

"If the SIOE demonstration started it would have resulted in serious disorder," a statement from police said.

So did the 'fascist' demo happen or what? As usual in these circumstances it is best to go to the local papers who tend to have a more accurate account of what happened. Here's the Harrow Times:

A DEMONSTRATION against fascism outside Harrow Central Mosque descend into violence and ugly scenes as groups of young Asian men ran amok through Wealdstone.

Despite earlier calls for calm and peace from community and mosque leaders, hundreds chased people through the streets around the mosque and got into scuffles with police.

On The Bridge, close to Harrow and Wealdstone station, the baying crowd of predominantly Asian young men pelted officers in riot gear with rocks, sticks, glass bottles and in some cases, fireworks.

After being forced down from the bridge, the men chased people through the streets and tried to storm Harrow Civic Centre.

So where were the horrid fascists while all this was going on?

However, the right-wing group failed to materialise....

It appears that the EDL didn't turn up but a gang of Muslim youths went on the rampage anyway.

Friday's violence, which most newspaper headlines imply was perpetrated by the far-right, actually took place when there wasn't a fascist in sight. Realising that they had the numbers, a group of Muslim youths decided to declare that part of Harrow their own for a few hours and it was God help anyone who got in their way.

So, Mr Denham, what should worry us more, a group of people protesting against mosques and sharia law, among whom is a handful of idiots who throw the occasional Nazi salute, or a 1,000 strong mob of armed Muslim thugs running amok on a suburban high-street?

The theory of evolution is not compatible with science, science points to there being a creator, darwin was nothing but a curious man with an wild imagination, which was illogical & unscientific but whose views were conveniant at the time to people who were sick of the church's corruption & vile ways who saw this as a way to destroy the church's power over the people which it did.
the only reason it worked was because the bible had been modified & now contradicted its teachings, those 'scholars' of the bible had no answers to explain the contradictions & hence the evolutionist's easily defeated the opposing views of people who had little knowlegde of the true wisdom of the bible.
Authentic islamic scholars are the only true religious scholars left, they destroy the evolutionists views in open public debates infront of thousands, open to the scrutiny by any claiming to know better, evolutionists have always been invited but never dare to take part in fear of being exposed as frauds.

Problem is that the NF and BNP were nowhere to be seen according to the local newspaper. How can you claim anything about what science has proven when you don't know what science is?
You claim that science has proven the origins of separate species, yet those findings are still described as theories, believed only by biologists who do not practice what is known as 'real science', they observe & TRY to explain, when they fail to they make theories, which history shows are almost always flawed & based on the limited knowledge of that time period, being constanly revised, hence theories ARE NOT scientific fact/proof.
